DAY 01 | COUNTRY OF ORIGIN - BUENOS AIRES Departure in the international night flight. Night on board.

DAY 02 | BUENOS AIRES - IGUAZU Arrival at Ezeiza International Airport. Regular transfer service to Aeroparque Airport to board your flight to Puerto Iguazú. Reception and regular transfer service to the hotel.

DAY 03 | IGUAZU Regular trip to the Argentinian side of the Iguazú Falls. The tour starts at the hotel you are staying in. After picking you up at that location, you will be taken to the entrance to the Iguazú National Park. The train called “Rainforest Train” departs from the Visitor´s Center, an ecological train that goes all along the Misiones rainforest towards the Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat), the starting point of a walkway to one of the most striking landscapes in Argentina, next to the jump after which the Union Jump was named, a place impossible to describe in words for its beauty and energy that makes everyone feel thrilled. A place not to be missed! The trip continues in the next stop: the Iguazu Falls. Here, you have two options: you can either go on the Upper Circuit, which has a 500-meter distance, or the Lower Circuit, a number of walkways that allow appreciating such a natural wonder from another angle. To finish this unforgettable trip, we highly recommend to hire “The Great Advanture: Iguazu Falls Baptism”, which is an optional tour: a combination of a nautical adventure riding on Zodiac boats, in which you will go on a sixkilometers ride down the Lower Iguazú River going through rapids to finish your round in the Devil’s Throat Canyon, and a ride on an uncovered double-traction vehicle through the rainforest, where you will have the chance to fully appreciate the flora and, if you are lucky, the native fauna. 1-day trip. People going on this trip should take insect repellent, trainers and comfortable clothes.

DAY 04 | IGUAZU Regular trip to the Brazilian side of the Iguazú Falls and the Bird Park. Departure from the hotel to the Foz do Iguazú National Park. In this visitor area, you will find a single 950-meter long walkway, located on the Iguazú River Gully Falls, where you will witness a really impressive view of the Jumps. The tour reaches its climax when you get to the Devil’s Throat, where the sound of the falling water profoundly shakes visitors. Entrance fee is not included.

The first stop will be Lapataia viewpoint inside the National Park, we will go on trekking to complete the last kilometers of the Ruta Nacional No. 3. When arriving to Lapataia Bay we will come across to a perfect place for bird sighting. The trip continues along the beaver walkside to get to one of the dikes naturally built by this regional specie, where you will appreciate the impact that this sort of “structures” have on environment. Following a path that enters deeply into the forest, you get to the peatlands, made up of a great pile of moss and humus material that have a great capacity for water storage. In the southern part of the park, we can find the Lake Acigami ( Lake Roca), a place not be missed, so that you can admire the scenario drawn by the Andes Mountains (Cordillera de los Andes) as background, while you enjoy having a snack. The trip finishes at the Ensenada Bay, where the most southern sub post-office is located. Note: During the winter months (April to October) the trekking circuit does not take place, tours are only made in 4x4 vehicles. The End of the World Train can also be made optionally. During the evening, you will navigate through the Beagle Channel to the Sea lions’ Island and reach the Les Eclareirs Lighthouse (known as the Lighthouse at the end of the world). This trek starts at the touristic local quay, point where the ship sets sail to go through the vast Ushuaia Bay until arriving at the Beagle Channel. It is at  this point that you can navigate around the Bird Island -where you can appreciate birdlife in this region by watching species such as skuas, albatrosses, steamer duck, cauquenes, Kelp Gulls and grey gulls- and the Sea Lion’s island, where you can find the southern sea lions and southern fur seals. When you reach Les Eclareirs Lighthouse (The illuminators, in French), you will see colonies of Imperial Cormorants and Rock Cormorants. Along the trip, the guide will not only mention the main features of each of the species spotted, but he will also explain how important that maritime passage was for the development of the city. In the trip back to the city, the view of the mountain range surrounding Ushuaia is superb, along with the splendid nature surrounding it. It is a trip of great historical significance and landscape design.

DAY 07 | USHUAIA Full day excursion with picnic lunch Lagos Off Road in 4 x 4. After breakfast, with the first rays of morning sun, we will venture into a full day Safari, Defender vehicles (4x4) with lunch included. The crossing will allow us to connect in a different way with the most recondite landscapes of the island of Tierra del Fuego. Along dirt paths and bypassing streams, we will reach the imposing coast of Lake Fagnano, where we can take a moment to contemplate this extraordinary place and its particular energy. From there, vehicles will begin to travel difficult roads (off-road) offering views of unparalleled beauty. Then we will start a trek through the forest to the Escondido Lake, where there is a mountain refuge. When crossing the coast we will observe the community of beavers, their constructions and reservoirs, creating a habitat to house their family. In this wonderful environment, we will enjoy a barbecue in the best Argentinian style, accompanied with Malbec wine, and the opportunity to relax, share talks and replenish energy. After lunch, whoever wants it, will be able to navigate, in canoe, the calm waters of the Escondido Lake and explore the amazing landscape. Recommendations to consider:

Remember that rooms will be available at 15:00 pm; however, if the hotel has availability, it will allow your entry as a courtesy before the stipulated time. If you want to guarantee an early check in at any destination, please let us know and you will be charged the previous night.

At the destinations of Patagonia, new hotel properties are set on the outskirts of the city. This has been a trend of recent years, since it allows people to be more in touch with nature, it provides better views and it’s also a way to avoid pollution, so common in cities. These hotels are mostly superior properties with much comfort and quality of service.

At Iguazú, you can find the Sheraton Hotel within the Iguazú National Park. This is the only hotel which offers rooms overlooking the highest waterfall in South America, being a good option for accommodation. In order to avoid raising the price of the package too much, we advice to take a 2 nights stay. The optional excursion "The Great Adventure: Iguazú Falls Baptism" has a cost of USD 49 per person.

At Ushuaia, the transfer to the port for navigating the Beagle Channel is on behalf of the passenger, because the port is at the center.- This tour does not include departure tax of €2 about, which must be paid before boarding.

At El Calafate, we recommend to consider changing the tour “Gateways Glacier Perito Moreno with Sailing Safari Boat” by “Minitrekking on the Glacier”. You would have to pay a differece of USD 95 per person; however, it’s really worth the payment, because the minitrekking is the ideal way to visit the glacier. This change cannot be made once you’re at the destination – Important information: the minitrekking operates from August 15th to late May, depending on climatic conditions.

At Buenos Aires, to visit the city, we recomment to take an alternative – Paying an extra of USD 70 per person, you can ride on the tourist bus for a personalized tour of 4 hours to take the first contact with the city, being able to adapt the tour to your concerns (driver and guide available).

Note: All the hotels mentioned in this program are bound to availability at the time of reservations. The rate of land services may be modified because of this. Special airfare, non-refundable tour operator.

OTHER NOTES:

  • Regular package with bilingual guide (Spanish/English) – Ask for another languages.
  • Request rates for itineraries that span two seasons and/or special dates like Christmas, New Year, etc.
  • Request rates for the month of July (Ski season).
