After picking you up at that location, you will be taken to the entrance to the Iguazú National Park. The train called “Rainforest Train” departs from the Visitor´s Center, an ecological train that goes all along the Misiones rainforest towards the Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat), the starting point of a walkway to one of the most striking landscapes in Argentina, next to the jump after which the Union Jump was named, a place impossible to describe in words for its beauty and energy that makes everyone feel thrilled. A place not to be missed! The trip continues in the next stop: the Iguazu Falls. Here, you have two options: you can either go on the Upper Circuit, which has a 500-meter distance, or the Lower Circuit, a number of walkways that allow appreciating such a natural wonder from another angle. To finish this unforgettable trip, we highly recommend to hire “The Great Adventure: Iguazu Falls Baptism”, which is an optional tour: a combination of a nautical adventure riding on Zodiac boats, in which you will go on a sixkilometers ride down the Lower Iguazú River going through rapids to finish your round in the Devil’s Throat Canyon, and a ride on an uncovered double-traction vehicle through the rainforest, where you will have the chance to fully appreciate the flora and, if you are lucky, the native fauna. 1-day trip. People going on this trip should take insect repellent, trainers and comfortable clothes.

During the evening, you will navigate through the Beagle Channel towards the Sea lions’ Island and reach the Les Eclareirs Lighthouse (known as the Lighthouse at the End of the World). This trek starts at the touristic local quay, point where the ship sets sail to go through the vast Ushuaia Bay until arriving at the Beagle Channel. It is at this point that you can navigate around the Bird Island -where you can appreciate birdlife in this region by watching species such as skuas, albatrosses, steamer duck, cauquenes, Kelp Gulls and grey gulls- and the Sea Lion’s island, where you can find the southern sea lions and southern fur seals. RECOMMENDATIONS TO CONSIDER:

Remember that rooms will be available at 15:00 pm; however, if the hotel has availability, it will allow your entry as a courtesy before the stipulated time. If you want to guarantee an early check in at any destination, please let us know and you will be charged the previous night.

At the destinations of Patagonia, new hotel properties are set on the outskirts of the city. This has been a trend of recent years, since it allows people to be more in touch with nature, it provides better views and it’s also a way to avoid pollution, so common in cities. These hotels are mostly superior properties with much comfort and quality of service.

Note: All the hotels mentioned in this program are bound to availability at the time of reservations. The rate of land services may be modified because of this. Special airfare, non-refundable tour operator.

At Iguazú, you can find the Sheraton Hotel within the Iguazú National Park. This is the only hotel which offers rooms overlooking the highest waterfall in South America, being a good option for accommodation. In order to avoid raising the price of the package too much, we advice to take a 2 nights stay. The optional excursion "The Great Adventure: Iguazú Falls Baptism" has a cost of USD 49 per person.

At Bariloche: If you want to take a tour on your own, we recommend renting a car for one day to visit Villa La Angostura, a mountain village which is 82 kilometers away from Bariloche. Villa La Angostura is surrounded by dense forests and snowy peaks; an ideal place in any of the four seasons. Here, you can also take a sailing trip on Lake Nahuel Huapi that will take you to Myrtle Forest, famous for its cinnamon-colored tres about 20 meters high.

At El Calafate, we recommend to consider changing the tour “Gateways Glacier Perito Moreno with Sailing Safari Boat” by “Minitrekking on the Glacier”. You would have to pay a differece of USD 95 per person; however, it’s really worth the payment, because the minitrekking is the ideal way to visit the glacier. This change cannot be made once you’re at the destination – Important information: the minitrekking operates from August 15th to late May, depending on climatic conditions.

At Ushuaia, the transfer to the port for navigating the Beagle Channel is on behalf of the passenger, because the port is at the center.- This tour does not include departure tax of €2 about, which must be paid before boarding.

At Buenos Aires, to visit the city, we recomment to take an alternative – Paying an extra of USD 70 per person, you can ride on the tourist bus for a personalized tour of 4 hours to take the first contact with the city, being able to adapt the tour to your concerns (driver and guide available).
