Visitors from neighbouring countries only need an ID.
Visitors from other countries must have a current passport, with or without visa depending on the origin country.
It’s advisable to ask about the current legislation at your nearest consulate or embassy.
Visitors who come from not-neighbouting countries are excepted from taxes over travel effects or new articles that have a value under U$S300, and additional U$S 300 if they are bought at authorized “free shops” in national territory.
The maximum allowed stay is 90 days.
Vaccination certificates aren’t required, except for countries where cholera and yellow fever are endemic.
