Argentina shows a lot of contrasts because of its rich and diverse geography: deep deserts, tropical forests and even Antarctic glaciers.
The northern area of the country is characterised by hot and wet summers with soft and dry winters, including recurring dry seasons. The southern areas show tempered summers and cold winters with big snowfalls, especially in mountain areas.
From the Andes Range in the west, to the Pampa plains and the Atlantic littoral, passing by hills, forests, jungles, deserts and valleys; this diversity of ecosistems enables the development of a rich flora and fauna.
A great part of our natural sites have been protected as Reserves or National Parks. Some of the main natural highlights have been recognized as World Heritage by UNESCO.
