Bariloche

Full Itinerary:

DAY 1: Arrival at Bariloche Airport and transfer to the hotel. Acommodation.

DAY 2: Breakfast. Circuito Chico Tour: the tour begins on Bustillo Avenue, bordering the Lake Nahuel Huapi, until we reach Playa Bonita, from where Huemul Island can be appreciated. After that, we will continue towards the bottom of Campanario Hill – A charlift will take us to the top, to get a view of Nahuel Huapi and Perito Moreno Lakes, El Trébol Lagoon, San Pedro and Llao Llao Peninsulas, Victoria Island, Otto Hill, the Cathedral and the city of Bariloche. The tour continues through San Pedro Peninsula until achieving the Llao Llao Peninsula, with the great Llao Llao Hotel and the San Eduardo Chapel, architectural jewels of the region. On Lake Nahuel Huapi: Puerto Pañuelo. After that, our journey will cross the golf courses and the Angostura Bridge, over the river of the same name, that joins the Moreno and Nahuel Huapi lakes, and the López Bay at the bottom of the homonymous hill. Then, we will reach the Panoramic Point, a natural balcony with a view of Lake Moreno and Llao Llao Peninsula. We will go across the bridge that crosses Lake Moreno. Then, the tour borders El Trébol Lagoon until we achieve Bustillo Avenue again. Return to the hotel.

DAY 3: Breakfast and transfer to Puerto Pañuelo to begin the Victoria Island tour, covering Playa del Toro, the chairlift, the conifer nursery, etcetera, until we reach Los Arrayanes National Park. After a short walk at the park, return to the hotel.

DAY 4: Breakfast and transfer to the airport.

At the destinations of Patagonia, new hotel properties are set on the outskirts of the city. This has been a trend of recent years, since it allows people to be more in touch with nature, it provides better views and it’s also a way to avoid pollution, so common in cities. At Bariloche: If you want to take a tour on your own, we recommend renting a car for one day to visit Villa La Angostura, a mountain village which is 82 kilometers away from Bariloche. Villa La Angostura is surrounded by dense forests and snowy peaks; an ideal place in any of the four seasons. Here, you can also take a sailing trip on Lake Nahuel Huapi that will take you to Myrtle Forest, famous for its cinnamon-colored tres about 20 meters high.
